Tự Nguyện – Volunteer: Translate English-to-Vietnamese for BPSOS

August 14, 2008: When was the last time you really put your bilingual talents to good use? Do you want to help make a difference for the Vietnamese-American community? Boat People SOS has many documents that would be useful for the Vietnamese community, but not enough staff to translate them all. We would be very grateful for your help with translating!

Our volunteers translate everything from reports on human trafficking to articles on healthy eating habits for new Vietnamese immigrants in America. This is a volunteer role that can be done from home, and the translations can be anything from small (a few sentences) to large (an article for Vietnamese newspapers). You don’t have to be perfectly fluent in order to do this well. Help us make a difference for seniors and working families by putting key information in their hands!
