Tin Tức – News: Seniors Find Health Services at BPSOS-Louisville’s Fair

Louisville branch manager Brooke Ha joins a volunteer nurse and the senior therapeutic specialist of the biopharmaceuticals firm Gilead Sciences at the health fair’s Hepatitis B table.

October 22, 2008: BPSOS-Louisville strives to meet the needs of the community’s seniors. Part of that commitment was demonstrated on September 7, at the free health fair for Vietnamese Americans. Many seniors turned out to take advantage of a wide variety of free health screenings (e.g., Hepatitis B, blood pressure, cholesterol, eye exam), information on prevention, educational workshops, family activities, and consciousness-raising about key health issues facing the Vietnamese-American community. Here are some snapshots of the day’s events:
