Tin Tức – News: Virginia Seniors Put the Celebration in Tet!

January 30, 2009: Over 400 festival-goers made sure Virginia’s Tet celebrations got off to a roaring start January 24 at Falls Church High School. The big event, put on by the Vietnamese Senior Citizens Association, churches, temples, and other community organizations, drew in the crowd with tasty traditional food and family-oriented activities. The event ran all day, and affirmed the richness and enduring character of Vietnamese culture!

Boat People SOS staff reached out to the community throughout the day, explaining the many free programs BPSOS makes available to seniors and working families.
