Bạn Đồng Nghiệp Mới – New Hires: BPSOS-Houston Welcomes Annie Trinh, IKE Case Manager

annie-trinh1Annie Trinh, BPSOS-Houston’s new IKE case manager, brings depth of experience to a challenging job.

February 19, 2009: It is always good to have experienced staff, and Annie Trinh, BPSOS-Houston’s new IKE case manager, knows her work well. As part of the branch’s Emergency Response and Recovery Program team, she will bring to bear skills learned during her “baptism of fire” – coordinating disaster relief volunteers in the wake of hurricane devastation. As a full-time AmeriCorps volunteer with the Houston office in 2008, she learned to handle that and many other demanding roles.

ikerelieflogo1Together with her colleague Nancy Le, she will provide services to limited-English proficient Hurricane Ike survivors under BPSOS’ program, which is funded by the Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund. Looking to the future, she has a BS in Health with an emphasis on health promotion, and she wants to gain more experience as a case manager to round out her skills set and career prospects.

fixed-welcome-coffee-mug1We’re extremely grateful for all her hard work to date, and look forward to working with Annie Trinh. On behalf of all BPSOS staff, the board of directors, and Houston leaders, welcome!
